May Allah reward everyone who came to the Islamic Fundamentals Study Course over the weekend of 28-29th January. The turn out was one of the best, and as usual heavily dominated by the sisters, and all praise is due to Allah, and He is One that grants success.
The next course will be held over the weekend of 25th-26th March. We will be covering the five pillars of Islam. Check for more information and updates at: http://www.iccuk.org/activities/courses/ifsc.htm
Remember to book early to ensure a place. You all saw how booked up we got!
Here are the power point presentations available for download so that you can revise some of the topics that we covered.
Aqeeda, The Muslims Belief
Al Qadaa wal Qadr
We will be looking through the feed back forms to see how we can improve, and perhaps I will be posting some feedback here on this blog. If you have any questions why not use the comments section as a discussion forum, that way everyone can benefit from you questions and the answers.
I have also provided a recommended reading list (see download above) for each of the topics covered. I might be adding to this as and when I discover useful material.
You may remeber that was talking a bit about Chechnia during one of talks. If you want to know more follow the links under the Chechnia banner, and look out for a blog on that here soon!
There is never an end to seeking knowledge, but always remember that knowledge is sought so that it should be acted upon. Do it sincerely for Allah, seeking His face, as Jabir ibn Abdullah related from the Prophet:
“Do not gain knowldge to compete with the scholars, nor to argue with the laymen, nor to impress and beautify the gatherings, for whoever does this then the Fire, the Fire!” ibn Maajah
We seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that does not benefit and hearts that are not humble.
