Salaam, I have a little headache understanding the Quranic law saying that if a rape occurs, the raped should provide 4 witnesses. How is this possible? More and more rapes here in UK and certainly USA happens disclosed and often designed for as few witnesses as possible. Considering this impossible position for the raped she could be sentenced to death by stoning! Imagine this, someone kidnaps a girl to the furthest desert, rapes her, and he gets caught. The court lacking the 4 witnesses from the raped sentences her to death by stoning, where often the rapist happen to cast! When I first heard this I thaught this was the most unjust law in ever created! Can you please explain how such events can be justified by muslim laws?

Salaam.

ARGcomment: Please provide evidence where this is in Islam. I don't think you will find this in the Shriah at all. Perhaps you should not be so hasty to believe and listen to every lie about Islam.

Salam alikum sheikh Green
really i need yr help i've a non muslim canadian friend an asked me a qustion that if i have a boyfriend or enjoy single life like her ?
Alhamdulilah i don"t have a boyfriend & i didn't have before but how can i explain that so please help me in that as ur replies r always logic and reach the heart easily

ARGcomment: This really deserves a whole essay, but my short advice from someone who has been there and done that is that there it is not enjoyable at all. In fact most of it is agony. What I would say to her is "Why have a "boyfriend" at all or any commitment. Why not just have sex with who you want when you want? If she says that you stay with someone because you love them, then if that is true why not get married?
Sex is gift from Allah thet helps bind a wife to the husband and vica verse. It is what helps put love between them, bonds them and helps keep them together through many difficulties. It is the means for helping to end many arguements and dissolving differences. If sex is pracitced outside marriage, and used and just a "pleasure" and recreation, then what is left when marriage actually takes place?

Salam to All,

Jazak Allah.
I have a question on the topic "Women and Daw'wa"
What if a Muslimah is living in a society where relations and social bounds are perfered then islam. and where people refere or consult islamic laws only where it can satisfy and support there own wish. How can we continue Dawa if our own husband or family members dont want to even know about it.

ARGcomment: take inspiration from Ibrahim as and his dawa to his dad. Never give up!

How come in every islamic conference the lecturers are mostly men? Why there aren't any muslim women scholars? Can a muslim woman give a public lecture like the other male scholars?
ARGcomment:
There was a sisters conference recently held by Mercy Mission, and iERA is planning one soon. Women talking in front of men is controversial so most organisations quite rightly shy away from it, leaving what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt. Our history is full of Muslim women scholars, and should be again.
